Welcome!

Can four minutes of scanning through my website capture almost four decades that I have been on this earth? In todays world of fast technology and communication... perhaps! I hope you will stay longer than four minutes because I have made this website for you and me. For you, to present how I can help your dreams and goals become reality and for myself to reflect upon my world travels and jobs of the past... while making more opportunities and jobs for my future. You may see images & styles I have produced over many years throughout this site. I hope it will inspire you to create some new ones with me.

World travels and living many years in multicultural cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago and Basel, Switzerland have made me a very open minded and creative person. My childhood was spent living in small towns where I "American dreamed" of my future life in the big city after college! Now I can look back and proudly say that I lived the "American dream" and now I am currently living the "European dream".

I understand the ideals of beauty and image that make world cultures vastly different from each other. There is still so much more for me to learn but what I do know is that people usually want to feel comfortable and attractive in their own skin. Men and women of all ages want to be themselves at their best... but sometimes, just dont know where or how to start doing it. Or they come to a period of their lives when they want to change their image and lifestyle and need new ideas from an expert. This is when I can consult and help with professional advice.

My rate is comparable to, or many times even less expensive than, top Swiss salons and spas! I give student discounts and I "Consider all the possibilites."

If you are a director, producer or photographer and have a project, I am very interested in being a part of your team. I will certainly discuss reasonable payment options with you.

I spent many years building my portfolio. Apprenticing, attending professional training courses and doing trades and free photo shoots in order to gain experience in the beginning of my career.

What works best is when I am paid half of my fee immediately before the job begins and the balance immediately after the job is completed. I think that is fair and maintains equal trust from both parties involved. I will also accept proper contracts, when needed.

If the job is far from Basel, in most cases, I must charge extra for travel time, hotel & ticket expenses. This should be a payment made before I travel to the job location.

Let's face it, some people just don't want to admit that they need help when they get to a certain age! What if your job is at stake? What is it Like To be a Model?

Modeling takes a lot of self confidence, practice, self control, hard work, determination and attitude! You have to think you are great because there will always be competition or people who are more prepared... This is real life. You need to know what ways your body and face photograph best as well as the knowledge to know what looks unflattering in photos! Its best to feel natural and relaxed in front of a camera. Doing photo shoots with a professional photographer and I can prepare you for the big time in the big city...the modeling world!

Why Me Sm

Why Me?

Working ten years in Hollywood, California as a freelance makeup artist and hair stylist gave me the broad experience and excitement that this profession has to offer. Please see my work experience resume on this website for more details.

During my college years I worked part time for Merle Norman cosmetics. I graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business management with a minor in speech. Soon after, I moved to Chicago where I worked for department stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. (It was initially my intention to do my college internship to become a buyer for a clothing department.)

It was at Neiman Marcus where the manager of the cosmetics department recruited me. Or I should say, stole me! She told me "You don't belong in that department, you belong with us." Looking back, she was right and I'm thankful to her.

In those days, cosmetics departments paid very well if you were a good sales person and knew the product. We were trained to perfection and were given all the newest, most fashionable beauty products to take home and try. I loved it! This was a great learning experience.

I have been trained by the companies Trish McEvoy, Bobbie Brown, M.A.C and was personally coached by Laura Mercier while doing an event in Southern California. My experience has prepared me for my next job in the fashion & beauty industry. Please contact me with any job opportunities.
